Interaction Design (IxD) 

A significant portion of my career has involved Interaction Design. My focus has been on creating low-fidelity designs, which are then iterated on with a visual designer. I use a variety of methods in order to get to an ideal design for a system.

Process and strategy: I’ve had exposure to project methodologies like waterfall, Agile, and Lean UX. I don’t believe in a rigid process—I adapt my process based on team needs based on my experience.

Websites: I have worked on many types of web projects, from simple marketing-oriented mini-sites and landing pages to complicated e-commerce sites.

Web-based apps: I’ve designed a variety of web-based applications, such as interactive scheduling calendars, dashboards, and medical data management systems.

Mobile: Projects I’ve been involved with include a Consumer Reports ratings app and translation of the Consumer Reports website into a mobile version (pre-responsive design). I also have experience working with responsive design, and have managed team members assigned to mobile agile teams.

Design standards: I have experience creating and maintaining enterprise-wide design standards, and can easily adapt to existing design standards.
